CI Connect 2017

CI Connect 2017 will be focused on a study of organizational cultures at four different local manufacturers in the progressive Asheville area.  Our hosts will be BorgWarner Turbo Systems, Thermo Fisher Scientific and two local craft breweries, Sierra Nevada and New Belgium.  Each of these diverse manufacturing facilities will share how they are "Leveraging Culture to Drive Continuous Improvement for Business Results” with their unique organizational cultures.

BorgWarner manufactures turbochargers, including BorgWarner’s Customized Dual-clutch and Control Modules, which enable higher fuel efficiency for Great Wall Motor, a major automotive company in China. Thermo Fisher Scientific manufactures ultra-low temperature freezers for pharmaceutical, biotech, and research institutions.
Sierra Nevada recently added the Asheville brewery to supply growing east coast demand for their craft beers. This new brewery was designed for tours and entertainment.  New Belgium is 100% employee-owned and recently started up their newest Asheville brewery.

Each of these four hosting companies has much to share about their unique corporate and workplace cultures, and how they help drive continuous improvement for business results.
